We are proud to announce that LUXIAOJUN has become the official sponsor of Bulldog Gym, a famous weightlifting club in Indonesia. Bulldog Gym is not only one of the cradles of weightlifting in Indonesia, but also the starting point for Olympic champion Rizki Juniansyah.

Founded by Rizki’s father, Mohamed Yassin, the club carries the dreams and sweat of many weightlifters. From humble facilities to the birth of an Olympic champion, Bulldog Gym has witnessed Rizki Junianiya’s legendary journey from a teenager with dreams to Indonesia’s first Olympic champion in weightlifting.

The story of Bulldog Gym began with the love and dedication of Rizki Junianiya’s father, Muhammad Yassin, to the sport of weightlifting. As a weightlifting coach, he knows what the sport means to young people—it’s not just a challenge to strength; it’s a test of will and faith. Despite the rudimentary facilities of the gym, Yassin used his passion and persistence to create a space for Rizki and other young athletes to pursue their dreams. Today, Bulldog Gym has become a symbol of weightlifting in Indonesia, and the addition of LUXIAOJUN will bring even more energy and support to it.

Rizki Juniansyah & LUXIAOJUN’s Choice of Champions. At Paris 2024, Rizki Juniansyah won Indonesia’s first Olympic gold medal in weightlifting and broke the world record with an astonishing performance of 155kg in the snatch, 199kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 354kg, and in this historic victory… Rizki wore LUXIAOJUN weightlifting shoes. These shoes not only accompanied him to the top podium but also witnessed his infinite love and persistence in weightlifting.

Rizki’s father, Mohammed Yassin, is not only his coach but also his staunchest supporter. From early morning training to late-night

companionship; his father used love and patience to train Rizki to become an Olympic champion. “My first training session was at Bulldog Gym, and although the facilities and equipment were far from ideal, my father was determined to produce a world champion,” Rezki recalls. Yassin not only taught Rizki how to lift weights but also how to face challenges and persevere.

However, two months after Rizki’s victory, his father died in an accident, which was a huge blow to Rizki. “My father made me who I am today, so losing him is devastating for me,” he admits. But Rizki chose to be strong and chose to continue his father’s career with actions. He returns to his hometown from Jakarta every week to take care of Bulldog Gym himself, purchase equipment, improve the training environment, and support more children with weightlifting dreams.

“The first time I made my own money, I spent it on gym equipment,” he says. Today, Bulldog Gym is a well-equipped, dynamic training facility that attracts more and more young athletes.
